Potty Training Twins

Having twins is definitely harder than I thought that it would be. Each twin has a different personality.
My twins are almost TWO and we have began to potty train. Here are a couple of tips and hopefully they can save you a bit of time and money.

1. Do NOT go out and buy the fancy baby toilet.
I bought this toilet thinking, "The twins love Mickey and awh, it makes a flushing sound" My twins were always taking this toilet apart and now they use it as a stepping stool. 25 dollars... Gone

This is the type for training potty I would recommend.
There are different animals. I think I have a lady bug or something. The twins sometimes sit backwards on it and it works just the same. The only part that you can remove is the tray. 14 dollars, well spent!

This is the cheapest option and very useful as well! (around 8 dollars)

I use this more than anything else, but as you know, with two babies you will need a couple of options because they go into the bathroom together.

2. Is your baby ready to train?
Find out!
- Are they taking off their clothes?
- Do they take off their soiled diaper or appear fussy when wet?
- Do they appear curious when you use the restroom?

When I would change the dirty diaper, I would announce what I found. "Pee Pee or Poo Poo/Ca Ca" After a couple of days, they were also saying pee pee and ca ca.

3. Positive Reinforcement... I do not give treats or candy, I do however clap and cheer and say "Good Boy/Girl" "Big Boy/Girl" Now they are also clapping for themselves.

If they pee in the training potty, pour it into the regular toilet and let them flush the handle. We say "Bye Bye pee pee" I know that may sound weird but trust me, It works!

We also have a little jingle we sing, "Poo Poo in the pot-tay" or Pee pee... Whichever is needed for the situation!

You want this task to seem fun.

4. Start tracking when your toddler goes number 2. One of the twins goes in the morning after waking, The other around 10. So try to put them on the potty around those times.

When your toddler wakes, that should be the first stop. 15-30 minutes after juice, try to use the potty. Try again before and after nap.

I hope that these tips help you out! I know that there will be mistakes along the way but hang in there! You got this!!!

***If your child screams bloody murder when on the toilet, they might be scared or they just aren't ready. Try again in a couple of weeks!

GOOD LUCK!!!

Make your own BODY Scrub

Basically- I went into the kitchen... And this is what I found...
1- Olive Oil
2- Sugar
3- Honey
4- Vanilla
5- I got Baby Oil from Mary Ann!!!
From what Mary Ann said, she didn't like the Honey... No problem... I can use that!
I mixed it all together...
I liked the way it smelled... It was a slight sweet SMELL... I loved it!
I put it into the fridge... And then used it in the shower!

With the Winter weather... Skin is getting dry! I love the moisture that was left on my skin after this! I felt soft!
Gustavo loved it! So I guess I win! Yay! Happy dance!

Simple to SEXY!

I saw this and thought WOW! What an idea!!! So I am sharing it! I would wear a tank under mine! I am going to try this out and see how it works for me! I do have a lot of TEE Shirts... And I can't wear them to work... SO- Why not!?
In this tutorial we will show you how to add some glam to an ordinary t-shirt. Of course this technique could be applied to any other shirt you find suitable.
Start with a shirt, scissors, a ruler and a marker .
b9724d16375dba5f92c85ddd4193e918
1.Cut the neckline of the shirt(if it is low neck, you can cut only the back side)
2.Fold the shirt in half, but be sure to fold only the back part. Use a marker and a ruler to draw a triangle which will actually be weaved area.
3.Then start cutting the strips – each should be with the size of a thumb – no need to be perfect, so don`t worry. But don`t forget to follow the triangle in order to achieve the desired result.
4,5,6 -When you are done pull each string aside to make them tiny and rolled up
7,8,9 Start weaving with the second string – flip it under the first string then put your fingers into the hole and pick up the third string, then put the fingers inside the new hole and grab the next string. Continue doing so until you reach the end. Pull the strings side  from time to time to avoid having your fingers stuck into the hole.   It might sound difficult if explained like this, but actually it is pretty easy.
10. When you reach the end, cut the string in half and tie it very well and you are ready

What do you think? Pretty huh?

****UPDATE****
So I actually attempted this when I got home... Mims and Me!
Scissors, Ruler and marker... CHECK!
I didn't make the triangle far enough down... And when you are weaving the strings it seems a bit tricky... My shirt came out okay...  Practice makes PERFECT!

Easy At Home Holiday Nails

In my office I have a drawer full of nail polish... I try to save money in the smallest ways... So- instead of paying to get my nails done, I do them myself.

There is a lady named ANA (She works in the mailroom) who is always complimenting my fingernails and asking me, "How did you do that?" So- I took some pictures!

I bought these at WAL MART... They come together in a group of 3!
Kiss Gradation Polishes

 Here are my bare nails...
Step 1: The base color... Paint your whole finger nail... Like normal. I only put one coat...

Step 2: This is how much paint you should put on your brush. Basically, Dip the brush, remove the excess from both sides and then pick up only a dab at the end of the brush.
Only paint the tips of your nails with this color. See below:
Step 3: Take the glitter color and paint the top 3/4 of your nails.
Now put on a clear coat... Dry and Let's go!
Results Below!
Easy huh?

I always get compliments on my nails! People think that they are fake, but they are real!
So are my eyes and my hair too! LOL. It used to bother me when people would ask if I had in extensions and/or contacts but now I realize, Maybe that is a compliment!

*On the directions it says to got 3/4 the way down with the second color and only glitter on the tips... Well- You know I have to be different, so I put switched it up! But there are two options that you can use:)

Here is something similar in PINK!
Even my husband thought that these were fake/ Done in the salon:)
