WOW It is 2016 already!

Today I stumbled across my blog and geez… I miss blogging! Chasing twins is a very busy job, but I have to get back to the basics! Doing what I love! I have to be happy to make everyone else happy!

I do not even want to recap the last 4 months of 2015… So moving forward… My New Year has been pretty good! I took the kids to Busch Gardens to celebrate New Years! It was a nice night.

Tomorrow the kids are starting their FSA testing! I pray that they do ok! In the state of Florida, if you fail, You might not be going to your next grade, though they do have a couple of "Just in cases" in place. ***FINGERS CROSSED***

Since I am completely always in MOM MODE… I decided that I would start driving for UBER. So far, I have made some pretty good money and met some interesting people! I will start taking time to write about those "experiences" because I have only driven 5 times, and BOY do I have some stories?!
I will seriously make a tab for that later!

I will be back! LOL. I will devote some time to this blog again!!!

I hope everyone had an AWESOME Easter! XOXO

Donations for the Philippines

As many of the readers to this blog know, We have a Filipina Nanny. She is more like family to us! I always pick on her and say she is the most spoiled nanny in Kuwait.
Our sweet Mary Ann is from Cebu.
She was able to get ahold of her family members and most importantly her MOTHER! (Maria)
I was checking my email today and I saw that the KLL (Kuwait Little League) is having a bake sale to raise money for the victims of the typhoon.
I spoke to my husband about all the clothes that we have packed up and ready to send to relatives in America... I asked, "Can we donate them?" He said, "Yes Babe"
I love that he has such a giving heart! It is hard to find good charities here in Kuwait!
If you can, take advantage of this opportunity!
The holiday season is just around the corner! And maybe there is someone else out there (other then me) who does Winter Cleaning!
(I LOATH CLUTTER)
If you would like to make a monetary donation, Please visit the Philippine Red Cross.
Salamat

Arab Money, American Presidents or Vice Versa

I was in the Kuwait International Airport waiting for the kids to fly in and I saw this:
PRESIDENT GRANT
PRESIDENT LINCOLN
I do not know why... But I was kinda bothered... I sent it to my best friend TINA TURNER and her first reaction was... "Wow, That is a bad ass photoshop!" (Hmmm)
(She is in photography school, so I guess she would see that first)
VIVA is a phone company here and the ad was in ARABIC... So I have no idea what it was saying.
I guess I was bothered because... I am sure that if ONE of the Kuwaiti Kings had something like this done it would be INSTANT HAREM! "OFF WITH THEIR HEADS!!!"
Maybe I am being sensitive...

I was just looking at the CN World site (http://www.futurekid.com.kw)  and I saw this:

This place is fun and you cannot beat 50% off!
Most contractors are off on SUNDAY so this is a place where you can take the kids to have some fun!
Take 30 ALL THE WAY down to 1st Ring!
Exit R on first ring
(Look to your Left you will see the place, but you have to make a U Turn)
Take the 3rd exit on the traffic circle and then BAM... On your R Side!

It isn't too hard to find!

Now go! Have fun!

Guess What? IVF in Kuwait

Gustavo and I have been talking about having another baby since we have been married... We are never together long enough to make it happen though!

I tied my tubes when Mimster was born. I didn't think that I wanted more kids. She was a BIG surprise to me! And what a joy! She keeps us on her toes!
DJ is an easy kid. It doesn't take much to keep him happy!
I love them. They say a Mother's love only multiplies, never divides!

So- Let's start multiplying!

The first step: Get the swimmer's tested!
- I finally got Gustavo to go and spray some babies into a cup! It was very easy... You just walk in, get a cup, pay 23 KD (80.00 USD) Ummm, Release, and then in a couple hours, you have your results! Looks like Gustavo has some GOLD METAL SWIMMERS!!!! YAY!!!

Step Two:
It took me about a week... And a lot of research to decide to go in and see the doctor.
I waited for about an hour to see the doctor. He asked if I knew about IVF and I did. I broke it down the way I understood it... And clearly I was right. Then I met 'WANDA' I had an Ultra-Sound. (INTERNAL) He checked out my Uterus and said, "Looks good"

Okay- Now what?
- Hysteroscopy
- Start injections
- When my period comes, new injections
- Egg Retrival
- Egg Transfer
- Wait 2 weeks...
- Are we pregnant or Not???

Fast Forward a Day:
I got blood drawn. They took two vials to check out my hormones. My doctor said that I should get hysterscopy to check out my womb.
(Hysteroscopy is the inspection of the uterine cavity (or in my case WOMB) by endoscopy with access through the cervix) Basically- They are going to put a camera in my womb to make sure everything is okay in there.
That is a Minor Surgery... So I met with the anesthesiologist. He told me what to be ready for... then they gave me 2 pills to take in the morning of the hysteroscopy.

So I will be going in on the 18th to get that done... And then that night... I will get a class about injectables!

***To save time and money... I will have Gustavo do my injections. Bonding time!!!***

We are so excited! We have already picked names and we are hoping that we will get TWINS!!!

PS- I promise that if I use that cool IVF language, I will also have a break down or cheat sheet! That way you won't be lost like I was!!!

Wish us LUCK!!!
