Donations for the Philippines

As many of the readers to this blog know, We have a Filipina Nanny. She is more like family to us! I always pick on her and say she is the most spoiled nanny in Kuwait.
Our sweet Mary Ann is from Cebu.
She was able to get ahold of her family members and most importantly her MOTHER! (Maria)
I was checking my email today and I saw that the KLL (Kuwait Little League) is having a bake sale to raise money for the victims of the typhoon.
I spoke to my husband about all the clothes that we have packed up and ready to send to relatives in America... I asked, "Can we donate them?" He said, "Yes Babe"
I love that he has such a giving heart! It is hard to find good charities here in Kuwait!
If you can, take advantage of this opportunity!
The holiday season is just around the corner! And maybe there is someone else out there (other then me) who does Winter Cleaning!
(I LOATH CLUTTER)
If you would like to make a monetary donation, Please visit the Philippine Red Cross.
Salamat

Going out with a bang

Well, I got some good news! We are getting our retrieval tomorrow!!! I didn't know that I was going to have to take all these shots though! Going out with a BANG. (Shots)

I had to take 6 vials of Bravelle (3 power/1 water Xs 2) 1 in each thigh and 1 injection of Decapeptyl in my arem at 2130 then I had to get another shot.... (2 powder/1 water) in my Bum! The upper part, I am not going to lie, that was the most painful shot that I have taken! I do not know if it was the PERSON, the NEEDLE or the Meds! But I screamed! I am not sure what is the name of the meds but it was some HCG shot.
I got home around 11 PM. Gustavo is in Dubai... So it sucked having to do it all alone! I like it when he is with me.
So, I have to take a couple of pills in the morning and also take my meds to them (They made me buy the meds before the retreival)

More to follow! I am hoping that Gustavo will fly in tonight, because I really NEED him tomorrow! He will be doing his part!
I hope I do not get sick from the MJ Milk (Propofol) like I did last time!
It is funny because the Dr. said that I look Strong but I am "delicate" and "sensitive" to the medicine! LOL...

Explore

Gustavo and I were exploring different options for the next visa run. The only dates available are RIGHT before Ramadan... So- Bahrain it will be! It is a short flight, no layovers and I am sure as long as there is a pool the kids will be happy.
When I first got with Gustavo I told him of a dream that I had... I dreamt that I was in a Spanish speaking country and that I worked at an orphanage. Perhaps that was me getting my calling... I do not know. I only know that my passion is to help people. Gustavo sent me this link and it only re-confirmed how beautiful his soul is:

This would be a great vacation idea! And it is giving back! I know that we will do this trip! Sooner or Later!
Seeing these sides of my partner only deepen the love and respect that I have for him. Noble and Humble... were just added to his list of great attributes.
