Day 26: My Weakness

Anyone who knows me - knows that I strive to be different... I do not think that My Man should smell like all the rest of the men in the World. If you had me sitting down and BLINDFOLDED... I know I will be able to pick Gustavo from a Line Up! I absolutely love this cologne! S.T. Dupont-Passenger Cruise!!!

This is in our bedroom! On our stand. We got the His & Hers! This cologne is My Weakness! It just smells so good on him!

Day 25: Favorite Color

GREEN...
I love Green Monsters... Green Eyes... Money is Green. Green Plants:) If you ask my kids what my favorite color is- They will say GREEN. People at my job call me "SHE-Hulk"... She is GREEN...
So all in all- Green is my favorite color.

Day 24: Sour

So- I bought this SOUR sucker thing for the kids! BUT I keep forgetting to give it to them- When I do- I will provide the SOUR photos:) Dj keeps spotting it, but always at the WORST times!

Day 23- LoVe

This picture got me through some hard times when I first got over here. I was stressed but looking at this made life a bit easier!
Domiyana loves her Daddy!!! TOO MUCH! She is always connected to him and absorbing all his love.
When I see them... I see love! She will DEE-BOW you to get to him!

This is my Hunny Bun as he calls me! His favorite treat is a Hunny Bun so it is a great compliment. Also- My Dj is going to be in a Karate Tourament in Salmiya this Friday! I am so excited that he was picked! I will be taking a LOT of photos!

I bake for my LOVES:) They have been asking for Brownies... I will do it tomorrow!

Day 22: Black and White

I took some of my favorite pictures of myself and played with em a bit to make them B&W. Plus- I took a couple of my cousins B&W pics that were on my computer. I do not have the Mac so I do not have many pictures here... But I did with what I have. Generally I will attach all the photos to a draft entry and then complete my entry at a later time. But when the internet is not working at home- It is more difficult. Bear with me people!

This was me after a flight! Last year:)
This was me when I was in Kuwait before. Back in 2005:) I think I look the same!

This was a picture that Tina sent to me of my water babygirl!
Here is my water babyboy too! They are great swimmers now! I got to find them a pool SOON!
Here is me and Mi Suave. We do not take as many photos as we should. Him and the kids are my favorite photo subjects:) It is hard to get in front of the camera when you are always behind it:)

Day 21: Landscape

This is the landscape that we see daily. The is really no space in between the houses here. Many of the homes in Kuwait would EASILY make it on MTV Cribs. They are 3-5 stories. The house that we live in is 3 floors and there is a couple of rooms under the house with a seperate entrance. There is also a laundry room and storage room on the roof. I kind of like the idea of keeping your family housed. In most cases the daughters go to live with their husband's family. And the sons stay in the home of their Father and Mother. It is like separate apartments/flats upstairs. Our apartment has an identical apartment across from it.

Seeing this might make you see why going on vacation is great for us!

Another Day of Fun

Since I am only off one day a week, we try to make sure that we have fun. Usually we have Pizza and Movie night every Friday night. We have been skipping the Pizza because while we are out we eat... But the Movie always stays.
We went to Chili's. The kids and I had the Chicken Club Tacos. They were VERY good.  Gustavo had the Monterey Chicken which was basically the same thing... Minus the tortilla. I should have taken a picture but since the Tacos were destroyed within seconds... I didn't get a photo:) It cost 23 KD to eat... At Chili's I guess I didn't realize how expensive things are over here!

Then we were off the go Ice Skating. It took us a long time to get there... First- Flat tire... Thank You Gustavo for knowing how to change a tire! Then we got lost. Gustavo and I got lost a lot but we always find our place in the end:)
Ice Skating sessions are 1 1/2 hours with a 30 minute break between sessions. So we had Ice Cream first at the conjoined McDonald's and then off to the ice. 2030-2200 Session.
Getting the right skates was a bit of a rough start. Note: They run SMALL.
We went to the small rink. It was only my second time on ice and the kids first time so- The less witnesses- the better! Dj did pretty good. He will need a bit more practice but for the most part- He did well. Mimi on the other hand... I think she hit the ice more then ANYONE that was there. We finally got her off the "please help cart" and she stood on her own. She moved around a bit. I think that with a bit more practice- She will be skating in NO TIME! She actually enjoyed it and wants to go back. It is always good to try and expose the children to new things. It was only 1 KD 500 fils to go. That is about 5.00 USD. Not too bad.
Now the shocker- I learn something new about Gustavo EVERYDAY and last night I learned that he can ice skate! WOW. He always suprises me. Watching him with the kids on the ice made me want to grab him for a kiss but- No Kissing in Kuwait!!!
I snuck a couple of photos. Here they are. Then a little kid told me No Photos... Pissed me off because EVERYONE else had camera. But as a role model- You have to listen to the rules!

When we were leaving a little boy asked Gustavo if he was in the WWE. HAHAHAHA!

Then Home Sweet Home... We watched "Cars 2" I am not sure when we all fell asleep, but we all did. I woke up around 3 AM and with the help of Gustavo got the kids to their beds.
I must say- It was a pretty good day off!
