Beach Bumming in Kuwait!

 After I got off on Friday morning... I went to eat at Early Bird with a couple of friends from work. I had the Banana Bread French Toast... (Seriously- Try it!) http://www.earlybirdkw.com/
The WORLD is so small because a lady that works in there is from my county in Fla!!! Shout Out to Citrus Co!!! LOL.

I got home and told the kids to get their bathing suits on. I took them to one of the my company's buildings to swim... It was SO COLD and SO deep that I thought... Hmmm- I have been here a long time and I have never been to the beach! So... ROAD TRIP! I went looking for one place... But ended up at another!!! We went to the El Joan Resort. I liked it. It was not crowded... And it was so nice! I could not find a website... But the below is the resort right next door. We will be going there one day too! There was a section named 'Amber'

Caribou Coffee

Me and the Fam were driving to Fahaheel and I thought, "I would love some StarBucks"
So we pulled into the one on Coastal with the HUGE Marroon Building and there Was ZERO parking! So I decided we could just get one from the StarBucks beside the Mall... Well- While we were walking thru I saw "Caribou Coffee" Hmmm, Something new... Different... DETOUR!
I completely LOVED it! I think that I liked it MORE then StarBucks!!!
To be completely fair though... I have a confession...-I do not drink COFFEE!... Ever-. I NEVER have gotten into it... (Gustavo loves it though so I do know how to make it)

 The cup was cool to read because there were all these reasons listed... with little pictures! Cute!!!

I consider myself a NERD so seeing all the little creative things that were in this place REALLy made me love it! I had the Oreo drink and it was Yummmmmmy! The kids were drinking most of mine! I swear- I should just get them what I get because they ALWAYS want what I am drinking! But in their defense... At least they are skimming off Mommy's calorie intake!

 Dj got his hair cut... A Mo-Faux- Hawk and a he got it spreayed GOLD! He thought that he was TOO cool!

 She was so happy to get to put this on! She is generally shy to ask for things, but she asked the shop owner to let her wear it! And he said yes!!!

Isn't that a LOT of gold!? The guy was so nice! He painted her fingernails and also gave her some gemstones! It is all about the kids! Since he treated them so well... He is now my "Gold Go To Guy!" The card I got was in Arabic but... I could read the number... 2391-7060. Blue Nile Jewellery (That was how they spelled it) Co. ......Behnam was floating in the middle of the card- So maybe that was his name!

I think that I will get Dj and Mims a necklace made there.

Building a Freelance Makeup Kit for Beginners

I completely LOVE this lady! Her personality is so cute! Her lil Southern Self!She reminds me of one of my BEST friends, Moni!!! I have been trying to figure out which BRUSHES to ask my sweet Gustavo to get me (My Birthday gift Idea) I asked a couple different make-up people... But they never responded:(  I love the way that she does her make-up and she always provides helpful links. GUSTAVO: HINT HINT HINT!!!

Olly Murs - Dance With Me Tonight

I heard this song on my way home this morning... I loved it. I felt happy and started dancing! That is a good feeling after a 14 hour day! This song is soulfulllll and it has a 50's type American Band Stand sound. Like I was going to bust out dancing the Mashed Potatoe or something!

I see that I am a YEAR late on the song... But What can do? I am slow to great things! I had to Google him...

I sat in my office this morning... THINKING about everything from the school bus here to the water in Florida.

"What is my BLOG about?" O- Yes, I know... My favorite SUBJECT ... My FAMILY.

I love SO many topics... and I am full of SPUNK... Where did that AMBER go? I used to be a fire-cracker, Fiesty and Funny!

To make my blog more versitile, I am going to add more to it... I know that it is going to be hard, but I will make time!
