Here I am waiting to be picked up to go to the Airport! Many people HATE that I love to be on time... But I love that! The shoes in this photo... TORE MY FEET UP!!! OUCH!

The flight wasn't bad....We flew Emirates and landed in Terminal 3... Strangly there was the longest line EVER to get stamped it! I swear we were there an HOUR!

After eating... We went to Aldo... Miss Idaho got some very cute GOLD shoes and we got accessories as well... Then- We walked to the Monorail, I swear it felt like we walked 2 miles ... For some STRANGE reason- I have ALWAYS wanted to take the train... As soon as we got on the train... Death became me! It stunk so bad! We got off at the very NEXT stop! And then walked more... The hotel wasn't too far and the weather was GREAT

Burgerholic

I was at work talking to a co-worker/friend, HOLLEY, and she told am about a burger place in the 360 Mall... She said it was the best burger... So- We had to go and test it!

I think that we found the place that she was talking about! 

So basically they are saying this burger is ALL NATURAL!

Sadly- I did not like the taste of the burger. It is like they seasoned it with onion... And I do NOT like ONION! At all... ZERO...

Dip n Dip

 I have been to The Avenues soooo many times and never saw this place! It is upstairs past the Build A Bear and the upscale kids clothing stores... There is a lot a BOOK STORE there! Yes, It is TRUE:)

 

 I had this Vanilla Shake... Though it was more like COLD vanilla milk... It was still YUMMY!

I could hardly eat it all! It was so good though!!!

Playful Pink Persuasion

 I went to The Avenues with Lateefah, Fatima and the kiddies...

First Stop- Sephora

The Chanel lady was busy so I helped myself to the colors that I wanted to test.

 The color I picked is in the MIDDLE

I ended up picking ROUGE ALLURE #94 Extatique

 I liked the way that it looked more then the others

 It is a pretty shade!

 It wasn't as loud as my previous lipstick picks...

But pretty all the same. 

I also bought some lip exfoilator and moisturizer.

Nothing worse then having crusty lips!

 I was really bothered at check out because the Chanel lady came over and said something to the manager in Arabic, he then in turn checked my bag for the lipstick.

I decided that I will NOT be shopping at Sephora again sadly... I may not know Arabic... But I know what it looks like to be accused of stealing!

Be thankful that my children were with me, had they not been... I would have showed my TAIL...

Pretty Please Pink

The inner Nerd in me has been looking for a wonderful shade of PINK lipstick... I really do put a lot of thought into the products and colors that I buy. 

I have decided that I will stay with Chanel... Because I LOVE it and I DESERVE it too! Sometimes it is the little things that mean SO much.

Blogging Bliss

I met two great Bloggers yesterday before I went to work.

We had a beverage of our choice, smoked shisha and had fun talking. They were both funny and easy to talk to. They were smart and super sweet!

The Canadian, from here on out is dubbed: ‘PENNY’

The American will wear the title of “Ms. Idaho”

Ms. Idaho taught me the proper way to pronounce ‘HERMES’ 

I always called it ‘Her-Mees’ but it is ‘Er-Mez’ LMAO…

Penny told me some great stories of things that have happened to her and had me wanting to know so much more!

I realize that I am a bit ackward, strange, witty, weird, odd, unique, original …. (adjectives continue endlessly) but I am a good person who is loyal, honest and with a HUGE heart… Hate me or love me… This is Amber.

I told myself that I would start getting out there and meeting new people in 2013! And I did! What a great start! Maybe you will be hearing more about Penny and Ms. Idaho! I sure hope so!
