 No Make-up... I was told that I hide behind my BLOG... and behind the camera... Not the case!

Gustavo gets a picture almost everyday! I think that I will try to take a picture of myself everyday for a month! I am sure it is harder then it sounds!

Day 27: Transportation

Gustavo and I bought this Audi when we first got here. I must say- It is a pretty good car. This is our current mode of transportation.

Mims is looking extra special here! But there is our car. My baby. My first car:) I call her a Hoop-TEE but I do not mean it. I hardly ever get to drive my car and I miss it. The kids call it the Crazy car... The race car... Anytime they see one similar here in Kuwait they point it out.

Day 24: Sour

So- I bought this SOUR sucker thing for the kids! BUT I keep forgetting to give it to them- When I do- I will provide the SOUR photos:) Dj keeps spotting it, but always at the WORST times!

Day 16: A Jar

Jar- Ummm, Well- I walked in the kitchen it these were the CLOSEST objects I could find to a JAR. That being said... Rice, Pasta and Sugar. I believe that Gustavo and I bought these at IKEA. To be honest- I hated going there with him when we first got to Kuwait. I haven't dared trying to go back with him there yet. LOL.

When Gustavo and I were in Dubai the first time I took him there and he loved it. So he went back without me but brought back goodies for the house. When you are in there, it is like you are somewhere else... Not in the Middle East. Great spot!

Day 14: Someone I Love

This is my Family. They are the people that I love. Having a son, a daughter and a wonderful man make going home everyday a treat.

I know that DJ is going to be taller than Gustavo very soon! LOL.

They are such a cute bunch! And they let me practice using my new camera with them!

Day 11: Silhouette

We all know that I am new to this photo taking business… I know I was supposed to make a silhouette… But instead. I made this photo. I love this photo more then the original.

Day 10: Animal(s)

These two are Thunder and Dora... Dubbed by the children:) They are always singing and making noise. I have tamed them up pretty good but I must admit that I hardly play with them as much as I used to.

 Aren't they so cute? They look like lil love birds.

 This was Xena when I was leaving to work. Doesn't she look like a Champion?

We also have fish. A house full of animals... We love it though!

Day 9: Sunset

So Sorry... But the Sun sets here in between the time that Gustavo is driving me to work and the Shuttle Bus is carrying me on to post. I looked for the Sun on the way to work, but it must have been behind me.
***I finally found the SUN!!!***

 The weather was not the best today and it was rather dusty out. Most days it is still somewhat light when Gustavo drops me off at the gate but dark as I walk into my building. My Beau said he would take the photo for me... Until he realized that he is also on the road at that time... With that being said... I will take the photo on Friday. (My off day) I will climb to the top of my building and get the shot... Or make sure that I am somewhere that the Sunset will be great. Promise! Until then... You have to wait for the photo.


---I got the photo… I just have to get the film developed because I used one of those water cameras… We were out on the jet-skis and I snapped a couple shots. I hope that some of them came out good!!!
***I have got the film developed... I will bring in the CD tomorrow! 

Day 7: Make-Up Bag Items

This is what I use... These are the contents of my make-up bag. As you can see- Very basic:
-Mascara
-Lip Gloss
-Lip Liner
-Eye Liner
-Base foundation
-Bronzer
-Amber Romance Glitter Dust
I love to play with eye shadow too. But not much over here. I hardly even wear any make-up at all.

Day 3: Hands

These are my Hands... With these hands... I love, I touch, I caress, I console, I pray, I hold, I teach and I am able to work. My hands have allowed me to be a great mother. To wipe Domiyana's face when she is upset and rub DJ's hair when we are watching a movie. My hands have allowed me to be an attentive partner to Gustavo.

***NOTE: These are my real nails and as a thrifty way to save money, I paint them myself.***

-Also... My hands are enlarged due to the effects of the photo! LOL

Great Idea

So I "Googled" 30 day photo Challenge. I then clicked "images"... I stumbled across a cute little blog with a grand list. (PINK ARGYLE) But what the heck is "Bokeh"? ANSWER: the blur, or the aesthetic quality of the blur, in out-of-focus areas of an image.

This is my List:)

She was missing number 21... So I just made the last one. I am not sure if I have to do it in order or not. As long as I check them all off- I think it is all good. I am trying to start taking more photos and blogging more. We only live once.
