Now here is the story-

We arrived at the AP and it was a short waiting line at immigration considering most of the people off the flight were GCC nationals which means that they went to another line. Then to the Taxi line, just follow the red signs on the floor that say taxi and have red arrows pointing in the direction of the exit.

There is automatically a fare of 20 AED for regular cars and 25 AED for mini-vans. Off the the Atlantis we go. 

When you pull up you are nicely welcomed. They take your bags and give you a tag. Go to the front desk if you booked a regular room. We booked an Imperial Club room which meant that we get to go to this room off to the side with no lines and check in. After check in you get a mini tour and escorted to your room. Now you are free to go and do as you like. ***There is a mini bar in the room, it is automated, so if you move anything... you get charged. (I found that out the hard way)

With the Imperial Club you get free access into the Water Park, The Kid's Club, the Spa/Gym and the Lost Chambers. Lost Chambers is an Aquarium with some cool decorations. When you are at the Water Park... make sure you grab a tube. They do NOT have them in the water slide lines. Basically you have to find one floating around some where. Also- Make sure you get a locker key at the ticketing counter (40 AED) 

The SPA was outstanding and the kids really enjoyed their time at the Kid's Club. We spent mot of our time in the water. If we weren't at the water park; we were at the pool.

Day 4: Clouds

This morning we all woke up early. The first thing Mimi asked was if she could make the cards for her Grandma and Great Grandma. (On Gustavo's Side) I broke out all the supplies and let her go to town. I placed the plants in the window and took a photo of the sky.

Not too many clouds, but this time of the year... That is normal. I did NOT edit this photo in any way. I just stuck my arm out the window and snapped:)

Day 3: Hands

These are my Hands... With these hands... I love, I touch, I caress, I console, I pray, I hold, I teach and I am able to work. My hands have allowed me to be a great mother. To wipe Domiyana's face when she is upset and rub DJ's hair when we are watching a movie. My hands have allowed me to be an attentive partner to Gustavo.

***NOTE: These are my real nails and as a thrifty way to save money, I paint them myself.***

-Also... My hands are enlarged due to the effects of the photo! LOL

Day 2: Fav Shoes

Contrary to popular belief... I am a very down to Earth and simple. When people pre-judge me, they automatically assume that I am stuck up, that I have money or that I think that I am "TOO GOOD". Being that I am older, I do not care what people think or say... But I have never forgot where I have came from. Now with that being said- My FAVORITE SHOES... Are none at all or flip flops:) Little cheap ones.

I love designer shoes as well- But being that I am trying to build a future, having expensive shoes that hurt my feet are no longer a number one priority. These are mine and Mim's toes:)
